Dreams Cancun Resort is a 381 guest room / suite combination of a 16 story tower and low rise five story pyramid-shaped section. The resort is located on the tip of Cancun on the northern end. This location allows for beautiful ocean views as well as views of the saltwater lagoon. At this resort you will be surrounded by water on three sides. If you love ocean views, you will love this resort.
There are both rooms and suites offered that include views of the ocean or the lagoon, most with balconies. There are also rooms with patios instead of balconies and the patios are equipped with hammocks, chairs and cocktail tables. Most of the rooms have beautiful cream colored marble floors. The bathrooms are also marble with more of a gray color. The bedrooms are bright and cheerful with all white bedding enhanced by colorful spreads and decorations.
For an all inclusive resort, Dreams Cancun Resort and Spa seems to offer good food, well stocked refrigerators in the room for your beverages, a nice family atmosphere with an on-site dolphin petting area, a good location for additional night life, and just about everything you would need for a fun family vacation.
According to the majority of reviews, however, if you are a single person, you may be happier at a more lively resort like Cancun Palace Resort located on the main strip in Cancun. Dreams Cancun Resort seems to be more geared to families and couples and it may be hard to meet other singles in this type of atmosphere.
They do have a wedding gazebo that is located near the tip of the resort where the panoramic view would delight the new wedding couple and create beautiful memories for years to come. They do have special amenities for honeymoons and weddings that are worth considering.
